Sneak peak of what’s in-style this week

Fashion trends arriving from every corner of the globe, it feels like a marathon or something. It is very difficult to list out all the fashion trends out of the cluster and pick one. And so here is the sorted list. By a thorough analysis by the fashion experts from different cities studying all the collection from NY, London, Paris and Milan here is a listing of top trends of the week which will have greater influence on many of the wardrobes for the week:

  • Floor-Duster Coats: the coat trend made quite a statement from Calvin Klein, Dries Van and Chanel collection. Quiet literally, the coat trend and hemlines was quiet a hit creating the most eye catching outwear rolling across the floor and pulling off the look. But this type of look does require a towering heel or a good height.
  • The fur: Yes, the fur is back. Monster furs were chopped off and screwed this winter, which percolated on Street Style Blogosphere. A variety of fur (small pieces) of fox, Mongolian lamb, mink and others are mixed together to create the prim Prada coats (double breasted) and Proenza Schouler’s evening gowns.
  • Neo-Victorian: the elegance of black lace and the melancholy elegant high collared neck ruffle is used to create this Victorian piece of art and bring it on runway. Many designers placed the era’s energy in their designs to create this new collection. Along with that Valentino’s Floor Sweeping Lace Dress and Altuzarra’s slit dress is being rumored to take on the red carpet wear by celebs.
  • Slip Dresses: with a pinch of retro touch, slips have been re-constructed and are out in market in various color options. Slips are making their unexpected way back in the market this season. Its traditional lace piece gives a clever dust of femininity to complement the winter look.
